I'm still not sure I'm going to blog this post when I'm done writing it. I admit, it even sounds crazy to me, when I tell people what's been going on in my life lately. I don't tell many people, only those closest to me. If one of them had came to me and told me what I'm about to tell you- I would half believe them.
Well actually I would totally believe them now! You know how you hear some pretty far out things that happen to other individuals. But until it happens to you, you're pretty skeptical? Well, that was me.
We just moved recently, so we've been going non stop for the last couple of weeks before the big move. Right before we found out we would be making a move, we converted one of the guest rooms into a meditation room. Remember me sharing that with you? Then a bit later I shared a post explaining how sometimes I got scared in our new meditation room. I felt like someone was watching me. Then each time I meditated it got increasingly worse. I would become more and more scared.
So, fast forward the move, and we are settled in our new home. The second night in the house Chris and I tried to meditate in our bedroom. It didn't go to well. I was the most scared I had been to date. I had an overwhelming sense of dread and trepidation. Chris kept telling me he could feel it too. After a couple more nights of just trying to work through it and keep pressing on (while invoking Archangel Michael and God to protect me with their white light) I just couldn't do it anymore. It was physically exhausting me. Plus I was experiencing light but annoying headaches that would not go away, days on end.
I kept waking up in the mornings with scratches and bruises all over my body. Chris said even if one of us had a hang nail, it wouldn't create that many scratches. And what about the bruises? I was starting to get really frustrated I couldn't meditate anymore for fear of being attacked, or just plain scared out of my mind. I love meditating. I was reaching planes I had never even imagined before. Good things were happening, doors were opening, it was amazing. Then it all had to come to a sudden halt.
Fast forward a few more days and I am sitting in church and we always do a full minute of meditation at service. One of my favorite parts of the message! This Sunday was one of the most attended services in a long time. The chairs were packed with people! So imagine the energy from everyone when we began meditation.
Oh boy. It was not good. After only five or six seconds I was terrified. I couldn't move. My body felt paralyzed. I couldn't move my head, my arms, nothing. I couldn't speak. I felt like two hands were forcing my shoulders down. Planting me in place. I wanted to jump up and run- and fast. Tears silently slid down my cheeks but that was all the movement I could muster. After those 60 long seconds and meditation broke- so did whatever was going on with me. I fought the urge to jump up and run straight to the bathroom. Chris looked over at me and seen me crying, he didn't say anything. I think he thought I was just moved by the meditation!
Finally I started asking people, "what is going on here?" I've gotten a lot of feed back. Then I went to a really awesome store here in town, where a very helpful employee helped me learn how to smudge with sage to cleanse the negative or darkness from me and our home. So.... this is what I will be doing tonight when Chris arrives home from work. I'll upload a video on smudging so you can see what it is I'm referring to. I really hope this works. I don't think all the entities are negative around me. Maybe none of them are. My father in law had a pendulum dousing done for me, and the world renowned Robert Pettit told him that there were 3 entities that have attached themselves to me. Close friends or relatives that have passed away but are stuck and can not move on. I'm not sure what to make of any of this. Any advice or suggestions are welcomed! Namaste'

Spirituality And Meditation
Spirituality cannot be explained it can only be experienced. In that sense, spirituality is quite different from religion since spirituality itself is a sequence of experiences not teachings or beliefs. This is how a person can be spiritual and be of any religious faith. Or of no religious faith at all.
One of the most efficient and easiest ways to feel closer to God and to your inner light, soul, body or whatever else you may call it, is through meditation. When you meditate, you allow yourself to be at one with yourself, with your light, and with the universe as a whole. For those few moments that you meditate, your subconscious takes over and reminds you of what is our natural state; that of spiritual beings. We are all spiritual beings having a physical experience. Hence, we should not forget this and should feed our spiritual lives every day through meditation.
Even if for just a few minutes, regular meditation will help you spiritually, socially, and physically.Meditating can be an incredibly healing process for yourself both physically and spiritually. As you meditate, you will see the difference in yourself and how you see life and others.

Failure To Launch (and a side note)
I have attempted several times tonight to meditate. Failure. I can't seem to focus for some reason. I tried 4 different guided meditations, but nada.
Most nights that I meditate with Chris beside me, he falls asleep! Then it gets really distracting trying to focus with him snoring right next to me. I feel bad that he falls asleep so often when we decide to meditate together. We mainly chose to do so at night, after he's been at work anywhere from 10 to 13 hours on a given day. I would fall asleep too! I bet he gets so relaxed he just drifts off into peaceful slumber.
I still struggle with racing thoughts, though I do have to say, the more I meditate daily, the easier it is to focus- most times. Just recently, we made one of our guest bedrooms into a meditation room.... The weirdest thing was happening almost nightly. I would go in and prepare the room how I like it. Turn off the overhead light, light some tea lights, burn an incense cone, and put in a meditation cd- sometimes guided and some times not. I would start to meditate and then all the sudden I would become very fearful. Of what I have no clue. Just the sensation of being afraid would sweep through my body. The longer I tried to clear my thoughts of being afraid, and kept telling myself I was acting silly, the more terrified I would become.
I've never had that happen until we made the actual room for nothing but meditating. Before we decorated it and what not, we used to meditate all the time in there, and I never felt that way. Oddly enough, when Chris and I meditated together it intensified my fearfulness. I felt like I was being watched.
It has since stopped, but also, we no longer have an extra bedroom dedicated to meditation anymore. has anyone else ever felt this way?

A Short Third Eye Meditation
This is one of my favorite guided meditations. It's a meditation from Saint Germain and remembering who you are. Removing the amnesia coding from your third eye. It's very short (5:47) and time flies by once you start it.

My Little Grasshopper
Who am I to tell her no, LOL! So I turned off the lights, lit the incense, turned on a few tealights and pushed play on our new meditation cd. About that time I look over at Lexi and she is sitting cross legged on the floor, on a pillow, with her arms resting on top of legs, palms up. My heart was so full of love at that moment! My little grasshopper! Emma mimicked us and we began. It was a lot different trying to meditate with two little ones in there with me! Emma kept whispering asking if she was doing it right, and what the noises were. But Alexis was truly into it. We eventually sat silently for about five minutes... which is an eternity for a 7 and 5 year old.
So imagine my surprise when I awoke this morning to Lexi asking if we could meditate before breakfast! Made my day!

Meditation Made Easy... or so I thought
So the husband and I are getting more and more serious about our meditation. After seeing the amazing results that are being blessed upon us by the Universe, after only a few nights of meditation. People have noticed a calm shift in Chris' Spirit and are letting him know almost daily. What a blessing!
After pouring over tons of d.i.y meditation spaces on the internet, Chris and I have decided to create our own meditation room. Seeing as we only have a three bedroom house, and the girls occupy the second bedroom, our guest room will have to suffice! I am so excited to get started, but still have no idea where to begin!
I will admit, I thought meditation would come hard to Chris, since I have always labeled him with ADD. In contrast I figured it would be easy breezy for me to just jump in head first... Boy was I wrong! Chris is amazing, very good focus and ability to calm the outside noises and racing thoughts. Me? The first time I tried to meditate, (are you ready) I was trying to clear my mind, while thinking about nothing but the color black, which lead to me trying to stop consciously thinking of thinking about the color, then thinking why am I thinking anything? Even the color black, just let it be. Then I heard a car drive by and I thought about why the gas prices raised so dramatically in two days.... well.... you get the picture! It's been a struggle for me needless to say, but it's getting much easier with practice!
