Maintaining A Loving State- Like Mowing Your Yard!

Maintaining a loving state of being can directly influence our perception of the "outside" world.

Let me use my simple grass mowing analogy. Some people will say oh, how they love their lawn! (When it looks good.) But they don't actually have a direct personal connection to it. It's something they keep distant from or outside themselves. When they perceive it looking bad, they don't go out and mow it or care for it - they complain and expect someone else to do it. They may hire someone to do the chore they don't want to do. Their sentiment being, oh, there's weeds again, how I hate weeds, or the grass has grown again, I hate mowing the grass.

Whereas someone who truly does love their lawn, really SEES it for it's beauty, understands and accepts that weeds and the grass will grow as a natural process, and by having loving gratitude for the grass as what it is, well they won't mind being with it and doing the work. Simply staying indoors expressing love for their lawn doesn't give them the lovely lawn that they expect.

So I think this can apply to almost anything in the world. Trying to conjure up expressions with words or internal feelings of love to somehow energetically push it out to the world HOPING it will make a difference doesn't work if all you're doing is looking at the outside world expressing what you don't like and won't go out into it to make it what you want it to be!
